Kim Spicer comes to Notre Dame with a lifelong background in elementary education. She has experience in both public and private schools as a teacher, parent, administrator, curriculum developer, admissions associate, and assessment coordinator. Most recently, she shared her passion for literacy as the Reading Intervention Specialist at a Title 1 elementary school in San Francisco. Now, she is thrilled to be joining the ND community to teach her very favorite grade: Kindergarten. Kim especially loves the multidimensional learning and discovery that takes place during this stage of student development. Outside of the classroom, you can find her enjoying ocean sunsets with her dogs at the Douglas Preserve.
